Refund Policy
Last updated July 2026
During the invited Early Access trial there is no charge and no self-service checkout, so nothing on this page applies yet. It describes the refund policy that takes effect for paid Researcher Center subscriptions when plans become purchasable, and is shown before you complete checkout.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
- Charges are eligible for a full refund if you request one within 14 days of that charge.
- Refund requests made after the 14-day window are considered at our discretion on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
2. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing.
- When you cancel, you keep access to your plan through the end of your current paid period. We do not prorate or refund the unused portion of an already-paid period outside the 14-day window above.
3. How to request a refund
Request a refund from Settings → Billing. Tell us the reason for the request; requests within 14 days of the charge are refunded in full, and later requests are reviewed at our discretion. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe.
4. Chargebacks and payment disputes
- If you believe a charge was made in error, please request a refund from Settings → Billing or contact us before filing a chargeback with your card issuer or bank — it is faster and avoids the payment-network dispute process.
- This refund policy is shown on the Stripe Checkout page before your subscription is created, and it is published here for your reference.
- If a chargeback is filed, we respond using your account records: our published refund policy, whether a refund was requested and within what window, and evidence of the service delivered to your account.
