How AI cost and credits work
- No unlimited platform-paid API usage. Managed inference is hard-capped; at the cap, AI requests are blocked (HTTP 402) until the next period.
- Bring-your-own-key shifts provider cost to you (your provider bills you); metered but never platform-capped.
- Local / self-hosted shifts inference cost to you (your hardware); metered but never platform-capped.
- Overage requires explicit approval; metered overage billing is opt-in and off by default.
- A 14-day trial is available; at trial end an org moves to Free or requires payment, and a past-due account becomes read-only.
